The Utes girls softball team hosted the Mountain View Bruins last Tuesday.
The Bruins scored a couple of runs in the first and held off the Utes until the bottom of the third inning. That’s when the Utes exploded for nine runs, then tacked on three more in the fourth inning while Abbie Davis kept the Bruins at bay to give the Utes a 12-2 mercy ruled five inning win. Sophia Pope went 2-4 with a home run, with Ellie Lewis and Kinlee Bristol each doubling in the Ute win.
They host Summit Academy Tuesday.
