A favorite girls night event is coming up for an amazing cause. The theme for the 11th annual Ladies Night Out in Vernal is Rock-N-Roll for Rapha, where dinner and an auction will raise funds for victims of trafficking. Last year’s event raised an astounding $45,000 dollars to benefit Rapha International which was an amazing jump from $31,500 dollars the year before. Rapha International combats the trafficking and sexual abuse of children providing care for survivors, prevention services, and support for families and communities at risk. Locations include Cambodia, Thailand, and Haiti. When asked how the mission is going, one of the event organizers, Katy Cundall, said, “Things are going well for Rapha but there are so many needs, so many girls who need help. The support and giving they receive always goes down a bit in the summer so I love being able to do the spring fundraiser to help with that!” Rock-N-Roll For Rapha is happening Friday, April 25th, at the Western Park.
