The paintings of two Uintah High School students have been selected for display in the Springville Art Museum in Utah County. Lily Carlson and Davina Widdison each have paintings that have been selected for the Utah All-State High School Art Show. “A panel of professional artists and arts administrators carefully studied more than 1,000 entries from around the state to select the works of art featured in this exhibition,” shares the announcement. “Comprising of hundreds of artworks from 105 high schools across Utah, the exhibition represents the promise of this young generation of artists.” The Utah All-State High School Art Show has been recognizing high school artists since 1971. Congratulations Lily Carlson and Davina Widdison! Their work will be on display in the show from February 1st through March 21st.
