Employment in Utah continues to grow with the current job count in the state at 1,650,800. The data shows that county employment levels have seen some increase in the Uintah Basin. The latest employment data in Uintah County shows employment at 12,805 which is up 31 from the month before and up 701 from one year ago. Duchesne County employment is at 7,902 which is up 69 from the month before and up 460 from one year ago. Daggett County employment is at 365 which is the same as the month before and up 9 from one year ago. “It is another month to sing the praises of the Utah economy,” shares Workforce Services Chief Economist Mark Knold. “Job growth across the past year is quite strong at 4.0 percent.” Unemployment by county is expected this week.
