A convicted sex offender sought by the Vernal City Police Department is still wanted and now faces additional charges. 30-year-old Jason Durbin has failed repeatedly to register as a sex offender. The court’s probable cause statement says in September law enforcement assisted with a U.S. Marshal’s request for assistance in locating Durbin and found that he had changed his employment and residence and also failed to appear for a scheduled court appearance. Along with the felony charge of Failure to Register as a Sex Offender, Durbin also faces a charge of felony Bail-Jumping.
