Trees for Charity applications are now being accepted at the Vernal Area Chamber of Commerce. This year there will be 40 tree applications accepted to benefit local charities and the spots will fill up quickly. The application and a $30 entry fee must be turned in to the Chamber no later than
November 14th.
This is the 20th year for the annual fundraiser event. Last year’s Trees for Charity sold a record breaking 450 tickets to the gala event and the grand total for the 40 trees auctioned off for local charities was $194,000 dollars, not counting silent auction and additional donations.
