Independence Day in the Uintah Basin will start off with an exhilarating jolt of patriotism. According to Vernal Chamber Director Joel Brown, parade organizers received confirmation that not only will the parade have a fly over this year but there will be two F-35 Lightning from Hill Air Force Base. “This year’s parade is something that no one has experienced before in that the brand new F-35 Lightning will be unveiled!” shares Brown. “It will be very exciting and something you don’t want to miss.” The Vernal parade begins at 10:00am and the theme is America the Beautiful. Parades in Tabiona and Neola also both start at 10:00am.
