The plan is the culmination of data gathering, modeling and collaborative efforts with a diverse and balanced group of stakeholders at the state and local level.” The draft of the State Water Plan can be found at statewaterplan.utah.gov. The public comment period runs through August 23rd. A virtual open house is being held on July 30th from 6:30 to 7:30pm. It will include a short overview of the plan and a live Question and Answer session. Questions can be submitted to be addressed at the open house. The final plan is expected to be made available by December 2026.
