Roadwork Continues in Roosevelt City

Patience is appreciated as road work continues in Roosevelt City. Dominion Energy crews began mill and overlay work on Highway 40 this week. This will impact the right/eastbound lane of Highway 40 from 4500 South to Lagoon Street. All travelers are asked to please allow for extra travel time through Roosevelt during the next two weeks.

Halloween Mayor’s Walk Getting Moved to Downtown Vernal

The annual Mayor’s Walk at the Uintah Community Center is a favorite local event while celebrating Halloween and in case you hadn’t heard, this year there’s some big changes. Vernal City Manager Quinn Bennion shared on Monday that the Mayor’s Walk will be in downtown Vernal this year!

The Vernal Innovation Hub continues to offer services to the community and a new group is off to a great start. ‘Women Business Owners of the Basin’ recently held their first meeting and all involved are calling it a success. The group is an affiliate group of Women’s Business Center of Utah and it was organized by the Innovation Hub manager.
