It was a relatively uneventful winter ozone season in the Uintah Basin and Bingham Research Center Director Dr. Seth Lyman has declared the 2020-2021 season officially over. “Our monitoring team traditionally counts March 15th as the end of the winter ozone season,” shares Lyman.

They’ve done it again! Uintah High School shared on Tuesday that the Uintah High FFA chapter harvested several big wins at state last week, including the election of one of its members as a state FFA officer. Bradley Wilson was elected to serve as the 2021-22 Utah FFA Association State Treasurer.

Duchesne County Man Steals Catalytic Converters to Support Drug Habit
A Duchesne County man’s crimes are drawing attention to a form of theft that the general public is vulnerable to. According to court documents, on March 1st, 61-year-old Marvin Lee Jones was observed on security camera at a vehicle repair shop located in Murray, Utah, cutting and removing the catalytic converters from nine vehicles.
