State Parks Limited to Residents Residing in Same County

The Utah Department of Natural Resources has provided notice to visitors of the state parks that based on Utah Governor Gary Herbert’s “Stay Safe, Stay Home” Directive, state parks will be open ONLY to residents residing in the same county as the state park.

Utah Borders Open; Uintah County Sheriff on Rumors Stating the Opposite

The Utah-Colorado state line as well as all Utah borders remain open for travel despite rumors stating otherwise. Uintah County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Brian Fletcher personally drove to the state line and verified that there are NOT any roadblocks at the Colorado border. The Colorado Governor has issued a statewide “stay-at-home” order that prohibits anything except Necessary Travel for Coloradans.
