TriCounty Health released the following announcement on Friday morning: TriCounty Health Department (TCHD) announced today the first resident in Uintah County with COVID-19. Utah Borders Open; Uintah County Sheriff on Rumors Stating the Opposite
The Utah-Colorado state line as well as all Utah borders remain open for travel despite rumors stating otherwise. Uintah County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Brian Fletcher personally drove to the state line and verified that there are NOT any roadblocks at the Colorado border. The Colorado Governor has issued a statewide “stay-at-home” order that prohibits anything except Necessary Travel for Coloradans.
