A Wyoming man is facing a very serious charge in Uintah County for an act that allegedly occurred in Uintah County in March. According to the Probable Cause Statement, 21-year-old Owen David Leseberg of Pinedale, Wyoming, allegedly picked up a 16-year-old female from her place of employment and took her to a hotel room in Uintah County where sexual intercourse took place. Leseberg later admitted to law enforcement that this had occurred but he stated he did not know her age. On June 10th, Owen David Leseberg was charged with 1st Degree Felony Rape in Vernal’s 8th District Court. At that time, court documents noted that Leseberg is not in custody.
