An exciting project is underway in Daggett County on 1st West in Manila. The Daggett County Health, Business, and Community Center will house a new Uintah Basin Medical Center location, offices for Northeast Counseling and TriCounty Health Department, a fitness center, small dance studio, several small conference rooms, a large conference room, and an outdoor patio. Daggett County Commissioner Randy Asay and County Assessor Jesse Platt have been credited as the driving forces behind the project which is receiving funding through a Community Impact Board grant as well as other partners. The rooms will be available to the public for private events. Daggett County’s Request for Bids issued in March states that the anticipated project bid price is $6.3 million dollars and says the project is expected to be completed in 2026.
