Ashley Regional Medical Center broke ground
on Wednesday
on a $35 million dollar expansion and renovation project. The focal point of the project will be a new Women’s Center and ICU within a three-story 30,000 square foot tower. The Women’s Center will offer digital mammography, a new C-section room and new labor and postpartum rooms. The new ICU will include a fully renovated medical-surgical unit. LifePoint Health has invested more than $72 million dollars in capital improvements to Ashley Regional Medical Center since 2001. During
Wednesday’s
groundbreaking ceremony, ARMC CEO Ben Cluff said
Wednesday’s
event was the result of time, energy and thoughtful planning. “Our community is the reason Ashley Regional Medical Center exists,” shared Cluff. “This expansion supports our mission statement: Making Communities Better.” Once complete, the hospital will feature all-private patient beds and there will also be a significant increase in parking.
