There’s been plenty of talk about the increased water releases from Flaming Gorge to support Lake Powell and Glen Canyon Dam but what will this mean for Daggett County? Daggett County Commissioner Jack Lytle and Flaming Gorge Lucerne Marina owner Jerry Taylor have answered that question and many more as part of a radio discussion that will be broadcast this evening on Newstalk KVEL. The simple answer is that life in Daggett County is expected to be normal and the services on Flaming Gorge will be largely unaffected. It is true that the docks will be adjusted but there are no services in danger of closing. Also, Lylte and Taylor will explain how the electricity from Glen Canyon Dam is tied to the operation of Flaming Gorge Dam. Tune in tonight at 5:00pm on Newstalk KVEL AM920 and 104.5FM.
