What’s On Duchesne County’s General Election Ballot?

Ballots are arriving in mailboxes across the Uintah Basin and Duchesne County voters will be focused on state and federal races, judicial retention, and proposed Constitutional Amendments A and B. The County Offices were already determined earlier this year. Incumbents Tracy Killian and Gregory Miles are uncontested for their Commission seats, incumbent Stephen Foote is uncontested for County Attorney, and incumbent Chelise Curtis is uncontested for County Clerk/Auditor. Rick Coil is the only new name on the ballot for county offices as the uncontested candidate for Duchesne County Sheriff, having secured the votes in June’s Primary Election. Duchesne County voters will have choices in the race for State Senate District 20 between incumbent Republican candidate Ronald Winterton and Forward Party candidate Annette McRae, as well as the race for State House District 68 between incumbent Republican candidate Scott Chew and Constitution Party candidate Sonya Ray. Voters will also choose between 6 candidates for U.S. House District 3. Duchesne County election details can be found at duchesne.utah.gov/gov/elected-officials/clerk-auditor/elections-home/.
