The AAA Newsroom reports more than 109 million people have made plans to travel between December 23rd and January 2nd. For those in our region, it will be crucial to plan around the major storms that will hit. Multiple winter storms are forecast and National Weather Service reports that travel across mountains of western Colorado and northeast Utah will have dangerous conditions, especially on I-70 and Highway 40. Snow is likely to begin Thursday afternoon and will likely linger through Christmas morning. Always check for road conditions and potential closures. Be safe and delay travel or plan for extra time when storms are underway.
