A warrant has been issued for the arrest of 37-year-old Vega-Oviedo Arnulfo on charges of rape and sexual abuse of a child. The charges, filed in 8th District Court in Duchesne, include 1 count of first degree felony Object Rape of a Child and 2 counts of first degree felony Aggravated Sexual Abuse of a Child. According to court documents, the acts took place in 2015 in Duchesne County. The victim or victims disclosed the abuse to foster parents and in interviews at the Children’s Justice Center. Court documents state that the presumptive sentence for a conviction of the individual offense is 15 years to life and that imprisonment is mandatory.
