Uintah Basin Healthcare is in great need of volunteers. Their announcement shares that they are “aggressively seeking volunteers” for welcome stations, including wheelchair, transports and guidance, in Roosevelt and Vernal. There is also a need in Roosevelt for volunteers at the Villa and possibly in the office for Home Health and Hospice. The Vernal campus is also seeking a limited amount of volunteers for golf cart transports on campus. Individuals that meet requirements and are active in volunteering can qualify for certain benefits, including a discount on healthcare costs.
