The students at Vernal Middle School opened their hearts this month as part of a Chuck Your Change fundraiser and the recipient was so grateful. Vernal Middle School student Max Madison has had a challenging 6 weeks as his family rebuilds after losing everything in a fire that burned down their home. Max’s fellow middle school students decided to donate the money from their Chuck Your Change fundraiser to Max and his family. Members of the VMS Student Council presented a check for $1,358.36 to Max and his dad Adam on Tuesday. Max couldn’t contain his joy and gratitude as he received the check, as you can see in the picture below.
Vernal Middle School recently held a Chuck Your Change fundraiser. The students decided to donate the money they raised to their classmate, Max Madison. Max and his family lost their home to a fire in late November.
