With dreams of opening its doors to an eager community for years to come, the historic Vernal Theatre will officially open its doors for the first time tonight as a live theatre venue.

You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown

brings to life the iconic Charles Schulz comic strip characters that made their debut in 1950. Charlie Brown is still a household name and known for his common man syndrome and exclamations of “Good Grief!” Cast member Patty, otherwise known as local mother and music teacher Danicia Christensen, says even the youngest of kids have fallen in love with this cast of characters. “My 4 and 6 year old came with me to practice the other night and didn’t want to leave,” shares Danicia. “We’ve had other little kids at the rehearsal just busting a gut. It is 6 adults acting like 5 year old kids so it is hilarious. Truly a great family show.” The Theatre would love to pack the house and invite all to be part of making history and attend this weekend.

You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown
