It is crazy to to think that the Vernal Theatre: Live has been producing shows and giving the community a chance to share their talents for six years. Season 6 has drawn to a close and it was a very successful one. The theater notes that 111 different people were on stage this season and 43 of them were new to the Vernal Theatre. That does not include those people that served as directors, music directors, choreographers, techies, stage managers, stage crew, costumers, props people, and set builders and painters. Season 6 featured some great productions, including Footloose, The Curious Savage, A Christmas Carol, The Importance of Being Earnest, She Loves Me, and A Tale of Two Cities. If you have had a desire to develop some onstage talent, Vernal Theatre: Live has some great summer classes. There will be Master Classes, two sessions of Triple Threat with full and half day options for ages 8 to 15, two sessions for Broadway Babies for those ages 6 to 9, Broadway Beginnings for those ages 8 to 13, and a Youth Auditions event. Keep up with Vernal Theatre: LIVE at www.vernaltheatre.com.
