Summer break may be a time to relax but for young local theatre lovers, it can also be a time to master their craft. Vernal Theatre: LIVE has stayed busy since school dismissed and there’s so much more to come this summer. Last week was the first round of the Triple Threat Workshop. There are a few spots left for the second session of the Triple Threat Workshop for ages 8 to 15 that is scheduled for June 20th through the 24th. Broadway Beginnings Session 2 is July 11th through the 15th and Session 3 is August 8th through the 12th. And in the middle of it all is the very special annual junior production. Youth ages 8 to 15 are invited to audition for ‘James and the Giant Peach, Jr.’ which retells the classic Roald Dahl story. Auditions will be held on Saturday, July 2nd at 9am.
