Vernal Rotary Club wants the public to know they are still taking donations for their winter coat drive. Now is a great time to go through the closets and donate winter coats and winter gear. Each coat makes a difference to those in need in the Basin. They are looking for gently worn winter gear, with no holes, and please no stains. There is an immediate need for kids coats. The Rotary Club will be accepting donations through October 13th. Any lightly used winter apparel (such as coats, jackets, hoodies, gloves, beanies, etc.) can be dropped off at any of the drop box locations: Uintah County Library, Davis Food and Drug, State Farm Brian Gorum, and the Western Park Ice Rink. The Rotary Club will also receive Venmo donations to be able to purchase coats for anyone who can’t find one at the drive. For those that need winter gear, the Coat Drive will be Saturday, October 15th from 10 to 4pm at the Uintah County Library.
