Rotary Club of Vernal is getting ready for their Annual Coat Drive. It is a local cause that the organization believes in passionately, especially this year with the unique struggles of 2020. To kick off their efforts, the Rotary Club will be hosting a Rotary Run – Ride for Warmth. All bikes and ages are welcome to take part (although drivers need to be 18 and over). Riders should meet at Beers Harley Davidson in Vernal on Saturday, August 29th, with registration at 9am. A single rider is $20, with each additional passenger being $10 and lunch will be included. Raffle tickets are $5 per ticket or five for $20. Kick stands will be up at 10am. There will be cash prizes awarded to winners, as well as raffle prizes drawn at the end of the ride. If residents want to help but can’t make the event they can donate new or gently used coats. They can be dropped off at State Farm or Basin Flood and Fire.
