The Vernal Oilers are once again National Champions! The 2026 USPHL National Championships took place in Wayne, New Jersey over the last 5 days. The Oilers beat the Hawkesbury Knights on Wednesday, the West Chester Wolves on Thursday, and the Minnesota Squatch on Friday to make it to the semifinals. They took down the Hampton Road Whalers on Saturday before advancing to the finals on Sunday and beating their rival, the Fresno Monsters. Brayden Boucher was named the USPHL Playoff MVP.
The parade route to welcome home the 2026 National Champions starts at Wendy’s in Vernal today at 5:30pm and will travel down Highway 40 to 200 East and over to the Western Park Ice Rink.
