The Vernal Oilers have done it again! The hockey team defeated Seattle 11-2 on Saturday to win their fourth consecutive United States Premier Hockey League Northwest Division Title. As the team now hits the road to continue climbing the ranks, the organization shared a special tribute to player Logan Powers who played his last ever game at Western Park ice rink on Saturday night. Logan came to Vernal in 2023 and leaves as the most decorated Oiler in franchise history. Logan played 137 games, scored 66 goals, had 94 assists, and 215 penalty minutes. A year ago, the Vernal Oilers won the National Championship and the focus is now on defending that title. Good luck to the team as they go for it!
