Vernal has made the list once again for towns recommended to visit in Utah, this time for being among the ‘Small Towns In Utah With The Best Downtowns’. The World Atlas publication selected the destinations based on information on historic features in downtowns as well as having a variety of offerings. Vernal’s highlight lists the many dinosaur statues, the field house, Museum of Uintah County, and history of downtown businesses. Other towns to make the list include Brigham City, Park City, Midway, Helper, Moab, and Cedar City. WorldAtlas was launched in 1994 and is considered the original online geography resource.
