It’s been an amazing 5 years for the Vernal Innovation Hub since opening. Innovation Hub Manager Sydney Millett says it’s amazing because when it opened there was still a question of whether or not it would be successful. The quick answer is yes, it has been. “We’ve seen success since it started so we built more offices and always have a waitlist of at least 5 businesses,” shares Millett. “We have also had a lot of other towns and cities, and even some people from out of state, that come check out our Innovation Hub to see what we’ve done, learn from us, and then they go model theirs after it.” In 2025 alone, the Vernal Innovation Hub averaged more than 40 reservations per month, supporting entrepreneurs, small businesses, meetings, trainings, and community users for a total of 506 reservations. Over the past five years, the Hub has hosted 3,789 reservations, with bookings increasing each year. Over the past 5 years, 33 different businesses have rented private offices, and there is currently a waiting list of six people. 156 individuals have completed the 25-hour pre-license contracting class offered locally at the Hub over the past three years.
