Vernal City is preparing for transition of garbage service providers. Effective April 1st, the provider of residential garbage collection within Vernal City limits will switch from RDT to G&H Garbage. This applies only to Vernal City residents. Routes and days for collection will remain the same and billing for garbage services will continue as part of the Vernal water and sewer utility bill. Starting the week of March 26th, G&H will start delivering their Green containers. Residents are asked to move the containers from the curb to their residence and note that these containers will not be picked up as part of weekly garbage service until after April 1st. RDT will pick up their black containers starting the week of March 26th. Residents are asked to leave the black containers curbside for pickup after they have been emptied during that week.
