Vernal City and the Uintah Basin Association of Governments are excited for an opportunity they are offering the public this weekend. “Vernal City has partnered with the organizers of the upcoming Home and Garden Show to encourage investment and renovations of homes in the Vernal area,” shares Vernal City Manager Quinn Bennion. “The City’s table and the adjacent booths will feature many government sponsored financial programs that can help future and current homeowners with renovations, home repairs, weatherization, self-help construction and needed code upgrades.” The agencies that will be on hand include UBAOG, USDA home loans, Rocky Mountain Power, and GUILD with the 203k loan programs.
