Vernal City has announced that road construction has officially started on 500 South, from 500 East to Walgreens. “While it may look like we’re making a mess first, crews are actually removing and lowering utility caps and manholes to prepare the road for milling,” shares the Vernal City announcement. “Once milling is complete, the road will be paved and finished with new striping. The full process is expected to take about four weeks.” For those in the construction area, please do not park on the street during construction, expect minor driving delays, and remember, a smoother road is on the way.
