The Uintah Basin Education Summit has been a huge success the past two years and is coming up for its third year next month. This year’s theme is ‘Grit and Resilience in Education’ with keynote speaker Christian Moore from “WhyTry.” The event received high praise around the state after its successful first year. It was seen as an excellent benefit to Basin educators as well as an amazing example of collaboration between the school districts, the Vernal Chamber, and all agencies involved. Last year, 235 teachers and administrators attended the Education Summit, free of charge, with each educator and administrator receiving 8 Continuing Education Credits. The event was estimated to be a $40,000 dollar value to local education. The event will be held
