Vernal Chamber Outstanding Public Service Award: Troy Ostler

The Vernal Chamber Outstanding Public Service Award for the 3rd Quarter is Troy Ostler. Troy and his wife Nancy have three children and six grandchildren who all live in the Vernal area. Troy has a degree in Civil Engineering from BYU, has worked locally in the Civil Engineering business since 1977, and started Civco Engineering with Nancy in the year 2000. Civco Engineering has been a contributor to many local events and fundraisers including Trees for Charity, Holly Days, Summer Passport Program, Uintah Athletics, Uintah Basin Christian Academy, White House Academy, Rotary Club, local and state food pantries, the Uintah Basin Water Conference, and many more. Troy has also actively pursued grants for local road improvements and other infrastructure needs. He was instrumental in the development of the Seep Ridge Road improvements, Aggie Blvd, and Main Street projects. In 2017, he helped in obtaining over $11 million dollars in grants for projects to benefit local communities. Congratulation Troy Ostler, recipient of the Vernal Chamber Outstanding Public Service Award.
