Vernal Chamber Awards Pete Morphy With Outstanding Public Service Award

The Vernal Area Chamber of Commerce announced that this Quarter’s Outstanding Public Service Award recipient is Pete Morphy. “Pete has built a life centered on family, community, faith, and service,” shares the announcement. After serving a two-year church mission to Brazil, Pete married his wife Kati Labrum in Vernal. He graduated from USU and went on to build a career in community banking. He currently serves as President of Grand Valley Bank in Vernal. “Deeply committed to the Vernal community, Pete stays actively involved in a variety of local organizations. He is a member of the Vernal Dinah-mites where is served as president in 2023 and 2024, serves on the Vernal Area Chamber of Commerce Board, is an RLF Board Member for the Uintah Basin Association of Governments, and sits on the Board of the Intermountain Natural History Association…In addition, Pete supports youth sports as a Vernal Girls Softball Board Member and has coached girls’ softball for many years as well as other sports his kids are involved with.” Congratulations to Pete Morphy, this Quarter’s Outstanding Public Service Award recipient.
