The Vernal Area Chamber of Commerce held its 77th Annual Gala and Awards Dinner last week at the Uintah Conference Center. This year’s business award winners were Coffee at 1020, Vernal Brewing Company, Liberty Energy, Uintah Basin Healthcare, Goodrich Mud Co., and Mountain America Credit Union. The Uintah High Teen Center was honored with the Government, Education, and Community Leadership Award. Mark Mason was the keynote speaker and delivered an inspiring speech. Always the highlight of the night, a new Total Citizen of the Year was announced and the Lifetime Achievement Award was given out. This year’s Total Citizen of the Year is Uintah County Travel and Tourism Director Lesha Coltharp and the Lifetime Achievement Award was given to Gayle McKeachnie. Congratulations to all on the well deserved accolades and honors.
