Law enforcement alerted the public of an accident on Tuesday evening encouraging travelers to avoid the area. The Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office shared around 10:00pm that first responders were currently on scene of a vehicle-pedestrian accident involving a 19-year-old man near 6387 South 12000 West in Duchesne County. The incident occurred [Tuesday] evening when the man was struck by a vehicle. Emergency medical personnel and law enforcement were present and actively managing the scene. The individual’s condition had not been released [as of Tuesday night]. Motorists were advised to avoid the area if possible and to use caution due to emergency activity. The Sheriff’s Office stated that further information will be released as it becomes available.
