The Vernal Area Chamber of Commerce continues to do their part to keep the community vibrant and full of opportunity. Last week, the Chamber hosted a business seminar that provided Myers Briggs personality testing to anyone in the community through UBATC. The large group of attendees learned about their individual traits and how to connect with others in work, home, or community environments. Another opportunity coming up through the Vernal Area Chamber is the second annual Education Summit. Following last year’s inaugural event, the Vernal Chamber received multiple awards on a state level because of the incredible value offered to local educators and community members. The Vernal Area Chamber’s Education Committee coordinated with the Duchesne County and Uintah School Districts, as well as USU and UBATC, to create the event that provides continuing education for local teachers and administrators. Educators are able to attend the all day event free of charge and receive 6 re-licensure credits. The value of this Chamber event is vast but in dollars and cents the contribution back to local educators amounts to over $50,000 dollars. The Education Summit will be held March 25th from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Register at
