Roosevelt City has announced an opening on the Roosevelt City Council with the departure of Albert Foster as he has accepted a career opportunity on the Wasatch Front. Foster was halfway through his second term on city council and just days after his run for Roosevelt City Mayor when he was offered a position as HR Director of Wasatch Mental Health in Provo. He hadn’t planned on leaving his city council position but the job offer wasn’t something he planned on either. “I’ve lived in the Uintah Basin for 36 years and 15 of those were in Roosevelt,” shares Foster. “I’m so glad to see the progress of the City as it’s headed in the right direction.” Resumes for the vacant city council position can be submitted to the City Recorder no later than
December 5th.
Roosevelt City Council will hold interviews, open to the public, during their regularly scheduled City Council meeting
on December 12th.
