Uintah Transportation Special Service District 1 has partnered with Vernal Police Department and Triad Jiu Jitsu to bring women’s self defense classes to Uintah County. “Join us for this 3 week course covering safety tips and self-defense skills,” shares the announcement. “[This is] for ages 16 and older. Bring your moms, sisters, daughters, friends, neighbors- all the women in your life.” The course is taking place March 14th, 21st, and 28th at the Uintah Recreation Center. Space is limited but there is still time to register. No experience is needed to participate and the course aims to build focus and confidence.
