Ute Tribe Holding Pet Round Up Today

The Humane Society of Utah, Ute Indian Tribe Fish and Wildlife and the Ute Indian Housing Authority are coordinating efforts to host a Pet Round-up Event. Tribal members can come to the Ute Tribe Fish and Wildlife main building in Fort Duchesne and relinquish their dogs and cats today. The animals must meet the criteria for the Humane Society to intake them. The animals must be friendly to humans. They must present no aggression whatsoever. They must not show any signs of severe frightfulness. In addition, there will be a free vaccination clinic on site as well as free spay/neuter surgery opportunities. The Pet Round-up is being held today from 1pm to 5pm. There are limited spots for surrendering animals and spay/neuter surgery spots so please contact 435-722-4656 to check availability.
