A Utah man has died in a kayak incident on the Green River in Daggett County. According to a news release from the Utah Division of Natural Resources Law Enforcement Division, an adult male from the Salt Lake Valley died from a drowning incident on the Green River near Red Creek on August 11th. “At approximately 2:00pm, the adult male was floating with a group of individuals on kayaks. Witnesses report that the individual rolled near the Red Creek rapids. The group was able to upright the individual who was unresponsive. They attempted life saving measures but the individual unfortunately died from the incident.” The Department of Natural Resources Law Enforcement Division thanked all who assisted as well as the Daggett County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue, for their response.
