A fun video was released this week featuring Vernal City’s downtown with the tagline, “What can $40 get you in Vernal, Utah?” The video is from the Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity as part of a series that promotes rural businesses in support of Utah’s economy. The visitor makes stops at 7-11 Ranch Restaurant, Plaza Mexicana, and Market on Main in a quick video. Vernal City Manager Quinn Bennion chats with the visitor for a moment, sharing that “there’s been a great effort to bring the attention back downtown to the small Mom and Pops, local owners, local managers, and it’s been working.” The emphasis of the feature is that Vernal City offers more than just outdoor adventure.
