Graduates of USU Uintah Basin are finding success all over the world. Most recently, a 2013 graduate is the latest hire as a Professor at Utah Valley University. Rachel Arocho recently completed her doctorate and has now taken a position with UVU as an assistant professor of family science. “I realized I wanted to be a professor early in my time at USU Uintah Basin because of the opportunities to work with Dr. David Law on his research,” said Arocho. “I was able to interact comfortably with the faculty and staff all over the campus and get to know them well.” Arocho received her bachelor’s from USU Uintah Basin in 2013, completed a master’s program at Ohio State University in 2015, and then her doctorate in 2018. Congratulations Professor Arocho on your new venture!
