The-Utah Department of Transportation has provided an update on the Indian Canyon Corridor project on Highway 191. “Throughout the canyon, crews are making improvements to ensure the road withstands the projected additional heavy traffic and to improve safety for all travelers on the route,” shares the announcement. “[The following is] what to expect in the canyon: Multiple construction zones with reduced speed limits and traffic control stops; Lanes restricted to 11 feet wide at all times; [And] crews preparing for work on the south end of the summit.” Travelers are asked to please be aware of construction activities and observe posted speed limits. Work hours are 7am to 7pm Monday through Friday. You can expect multiple traffic stops with single lane-alternating traffic controlled by a pilot car operation and approximately 30-minute delays in each direction. All lanes will be open outside of work hours.
