The Department of Workforce Services provided updated unemployment numbers this week and things continue to move in the right direction. In Daggett County, unemployment shifted from 2.9 to 2.7 percent from October to November. Duchesne County ticked down from 3 to 2.8 percent unemployment and Uintah County went from 3.5 to 3.3 percent unemployment. Nationally, unemployment lowered from 4.6 to 4.2 percent and in Utah, unemployment ticked from 2.2 to 2.1 percent unemployment. The next unemployment update is scheduled to take place on January 24th.
