The Union track and field team had a great showing at the 3A state tournament. The Union boys track team placed third in state behind Richfield and Morgan. The Union boys state champions include Ridge Olsen in the 400 meters, Hunter Horrocks in the 800, 1600, and 3200 meters, Seth Blunt in Shot Put, and the Union boys Sprint Medley relay team made of Cruz Labrum, Brady Whiting, Ridge Olsen, and Hunter Horrocks. The Union girls team placed fourth behind Emery, Canyon View, and Richfield. The Union girls state champions include Lisa Richards in Long Jump and High Jump, and Rowen Weaver in Javelin.
