It was an amazing season of competition for the Union High Swim Team. The Union Girls took 2nd place at 3A State with a team score of 248.5. Emery Lachance is the 200 Freestyle state champ. The Union Boys took 2nd place in the Boys 3A State tournament with 317 points. Ryker Getchell is the 100 Freestyle State Champ. Both the girls team and boys team had other podium finishers as well. Something that added to the excitement for the Union swimmers at state competition was the fact that 7 school records were broken, including Emery Lachance in the 200 Freestyle and 100 Freestyle, Cambree Guymon in the 100 Backstroke, Ashton Bennett in the 500 Freestyle, and the Girls 200 Medley Relay, Boys 200 Medley Relay, and Boys 400 Freestyle Relay.
