Disco balls, confetti, and neon 70’s dancing suits…It’s closing weekend for Uintah Theatre’s production of ‘Mama Mia!’ and those that have experienced it are spreading the word that this is not one to miss. The cast of 62 Uintah High students along with the 8 crew members are making the most of the stunning set, fancy lighting, and quality musical accompaniment. Their talents are the final ingredient to deliver a magical experience to audience members. Uintah Theatre shares that the show is a full party with songs almost everyone knows like “Mamma Mia,” “Dancing Queen,” “Super Trooper,” “S.O.S.,” “Waterloo,” “Voulez Vous” and a ton more. The songs are woven into the story line so well it will make you think they were written for this show, rather than the other way around. The remaining shows run tonight, March 10th; Friday, March 11th; and Saturday, March 12th all at 7pm sharp in the Uintah High Auditorium. Tickets can be purchased online at Uintah.Ludus.com. Audience members should know there is fog, haze and a lot of flashing and moving lights.
