Five of the talented actors in Uintah High Theatre’s ‘The Drowsy Chaperone’ have received nominations from the Utah High School Musical Theatre Awards. This show was a crowd favorite with its never ending laugh out loud moments and high energy musical numbers. Caleb Harrison was nominated for Best Leading Actor, Alexis Anderson for Best Leading Actress, Sam Sorenson for Best Supporting Actor, Sarah Colt for Best Supporting Actress, and Seth Haslem for Best Featured Performer. “These nominations put our students in the running to be named state finalists,” shares Uintah High Theatre. “The Top 10 finalists in every category will be announced in the spring, once all participating schools have been adjudicated and the scores are tabulated.” Congratulations to these actors and the entire cast and crew of The Drowsy Chaperone.
